A blend of our five vineyard blocks of Cabernet Franc and aged 10 months in barrel, begins with aromas of stone fruit and a veil of vanilla, leading to a well rounded palate, gentle tannins, and a long finish. Pairs well with leg of lamb, but also holds up to your favorite red pasta dish.
Soils are based on weathered green stone, shale, and montmorillonite clay. Green stone is high in nutrients and when broken down creates rich, fertile soils. The shale allows for good water drainage, while the clay provides organic matter. Sites are all south/south west aspect ranging from 800' - 1200' elevation.
